HDTV need to be saved too then. They are more expensive than old tvs. Just wondering why everytime I visit a store, I barely can find any good old tube tv... Those LCD and Plasma TV should die because they are more expensive and they don't. Still, I'm expecting an article from Tech Radar about the fact that because LCD and Plasma are too expensive, they should die too.
C'mon, Gamespot articles are just there so they can get hits on their stupid website. They are one of the worst gaming website around. I guess those sunglasses are too dark, or you're really blind! : )
For each negative points this guy had, there's a positive point about the console. And sure enough, why not have both (PC and console). Dang many people even have more than one console!
99.9% of their articles is junk, since they are just looking for hits.
Any games can be GOTY... And funnily enough, 50 different websites will give you 50 different GOTY.
Not that much for the games though. Remember, this is not Microsoft. They have sold 100 millions PS2, and most of those people get their news, particularly about games, from the net. So spending as much as Microsoft did on Halo 3, would be stupid since quite likely most PS3 and PS2 owners already know it's coming. Microsoft had to spend the advertising money because they not only sold the games, but they are also selling their console. I somehow think that for Sony, this kind of advertiseme...

Sadly, we won't see much use in multiplatform, but hopefully, in the future, we should see devs using this feature often. Crossing fingers.
NOBODY knows how much money Sony is making on each PS3s. Are they making $20, $40, $60 on each consoles? NOBODY know. There's even many people who think they are still not making any profit on the console yet. (Nintendo is the only one who has been selling the Wii for a profit since the launch). Sure enough, by now, the PS3 is likely making a small profit, but NOBODY knows by how much.

Microsoft spend tons of money on everything, but cannot buy Bungie? Doesn't make sense to me. Dang, they probably spent more on Halo advertising alone than what it would have cost to buy them. For sure, I would not expect any PS3 love, because if they start anything interesting, I'm sure they will finally take their wallet out!
They make a review, and then email a rating number to Metacritic and other sites like it. Why being so shy about giving a rating like all the other websites.

Somebody at Microsoft: "Send email to Metacritic with "any" number they want?".
Gamedaily only look for hits when they write a stupid article like that old one. They don't care. All they want is visitors and they know that by the time the game comes out, no matter how bad they say it would be, everybody will have forgot about how stupid the article was.

I came here to be blown away with games that are running in 1920X1080. Call me back when you will write an article about true HD games. Most of those games do not even run in 1280X720. Yes, they all look great, graphic wise, but just use the title: "Best graphics", not "top HD games".
And no, I'm not nitpicking on one or two lines missing. 720p is great, even if there's a few line missing... But TOP HD should mean, more pixels, not just pretty graphics.
